Google is set to delay the rollout of its "Ask Photos" feature by approximately two weeks, according to Jamie Aspinall, the Google Photos product manager, who posted on the X platform.
Aspinall stated that the current version of the product still faces challenges in terms of delays, quality, and overall user experience. Although a limited group of users currently has access to the feature, he noted that an improved version will be released in about two weeks to address these issues.
The "Ask Photos" feature was first unveiled during last year’s annual Google I/O developer conference. Powered by Google’s Gemini AI model, this functionality allows users to search their Google Photos library using natural language prompts.
For instance, users can request a selection of standout photos from each visit to a national park.
