These figures underscore the growing adoption of OpenAI's flagship product in the artificial intelligence sector.

While Alphabet Inc. (Google's parent company) hasn't disclosed daily search metrics, recent reports indicate Google processes 5 trillion annual searches, averaging about 14 billion daily queries. Independent analyses show comparable trends, with digital marketing expert Neil Patel estimating 1.37 billion daily Google searches and combined studies by SparkToro and Datos suggesting 1.64 billion daily search interactions.

Despite this, ChatGPT's growth trajectory remains remarkable. In December 2024, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated the platform was receiving over 1 billion queries daily, representing more than double the traffic in just eight months according to his public statements.
