Anthropic is reportedly planning to raise $10 billion in new funding at a staggering $350 billion valuation.
The Claude-developer previously closed its Series F round with $13 billion raised at an $183 billion valuation, meaning this latest fundraising nearly doubles the AI firm's worth. Just in March, the company secured $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation.
According to sources familiar with the matter, Coatue Management and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC are expected to lead the upcoming investment round. The deal is anticipated to finalize within the coming weeks, although the final amount could still fluctuate.
This equity raise will be separate from a previously announced $15 billion commitment by Nvidia and Microsoft through a circular financing structure, under which Anthropic will purchase $30 billion in computing capacity on Microsoft Azure powered by Nvidia chips.
The fresh capital arrives as Anthropic continues gaining traction among developers thanks to Claude Code—an automated programming tool driven by Claude Opus 4.5. At the same time, the company is laying the groundwork for a potential initial public offering this year, joining its main rival OpenAI, which is also exploring a massive funding round of up to $100 billion at a $750 billion valuation.
