Tess AI Raises $5M to Expand Enterprise Agent Orchestration Platform

2026-03-03

Tess AI (Tess Tecnologia Ltda.), a startup specializing in autonomous AI agents, announced today it has secured $5 million in funding. This capital supports the continued development and scaling of its enterprise agent orchestration platform, advancing a seatless, pay-per-impact operational model.

Founded in California by Brazilian entrepreneurs, Tess AI is developing an enterprise software platform designed to replace seat-based software usage with autonomous AI agents for executing operational tasks.

The company addresses challenges organizations face when deploying AI primarily as chat interfaces rather than integrated workflow systems. Its architecture focuses on agent orchestration, enabling multiple AI models to collaborate within a structured execution environment. The platform monetizes work completed by agents instead of charging per user license.

Powered by a multi-model orchestration engine, Tess AI's platform integrates over 200 AI models into a composite intelligence framework. Agents are created within a shared workspace environment, capable of executing dynamic interaction loops, extended memory operations, and concurrent processes.

According to the company, a single agent call can support up to 40 concurrent operations. The system coordinates model selection, context management, and workflow execution across integrated tools and enterprise data sources.

These agents can be created, deployed, and shared by employees to perform tasks such as bank reconciliation, inventory checks, lead generation, data analysis, and internal reporting without continuous human input. A complementary workspace model allows agents to be reused across departments, with task execution tracked as completed operational outputs rather than seat utilization.

The seed funding round was led by Hi Ventures and DYDX Capital, with participation from Honeystone Ventures.

"We are witnessing a silent revolution from the bottom up. While giants attempt to drive AI through top-down initiatives that often trigger layoffs, Tess AI is winning because employees themselves create and implement agents," said Federico Antoni, Co-head of Hi Ventures. "This makes true AI transformation within companies possible, precisely because the fear of losing jobs is eliminated."
