More Gemini Features Coming to Google TV
Google TV integrates Gemini AI for image/video generation, enhances Google Photos, and adds a dedicated YouTube Shorts feed to the homepage.
Read moreAccording to The Information, OpenAI is charging a premium for advertising on ChatGPT, with rates around $60 per 1,000 impressions—triple the typical cost on Meta's platforms.
Despite the higher price, OpenAI does not provide advertisers with the same level of detailed information as Google or Meta, such as whether users took any action after seeing a ChatGPT ad, like making a purchase. Early advertisers on ChatGPT only receive "high-level" performance data, such as total ad impressions or overall click-through rates.
OpenAI may offer more detailed metrics to advertisers in the future. However, when announcing the ad program earlier this month, OpenAI assured users that it "will never sell your data to advertisers" and will keep ChatGPT conversations confidential. The first ChatGPT ads are set to launch in the coming weeks, targeting users on the free and low-cost Go tiers, with exclusions for users under 18 and chats involving sensitive topics like mental health or politics.
