Digital whiteboard company Vibe is advancing its business transformation by integrating robotics with artificial intelligence to help organizations better capture knowledge assets during critical team meetings, ensuring no detail is missed.
The company has recently unveiled a new product called Vibe Bot—a compact, physical device designed specifically for meetings. Inspired by the popular collectible toy Labubu, it combines playful design with advanced spatial intelligence technology. Its key strength lies in capturing full audio records of meeting discussions and automatically organizing them into clear action items and follow-up task lists.
Charles Yang, the company's founder and CEO, said the motivation behind Vibe Bot was to address the growing issue of "meeting fatigue" in hybrid work environments. He referenced a 2024 study by collaboration software giant Atlassian, which found that 54% of professionals often leave meetings unclear about their next steps.
"Organizations cannot afford to let valuable institutional knowledge slip away during video calls, whiteboard sketches, or casual hallway conversations," Yang emphasized. "A team’s competitive edge depends on how effectively they can capture meeting insights and turn them into actionable outcomes."
The primary mission of Vibe Bot is to attend corporate meetings, record every detail accurately, and preserve the full context to prevent information gaps. With a symmetrical body design, it can be placed anywhere in a conference room, enabling seamless 360-degree interaction. For remote participants, Vibe Bot offers robust support—it integrates smoothly with mainstream collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack. Using spatial intelligence and a rotating camera, it automatically detects and focuses on active speakers, streaming high-definition video to 4K displays and delivering real-time visuals to offsite attendees.
Throughout each meeting, Vibe Bot captures all spoken content and converts it into structured, searchable meeting minutes after the session. Beyond transcription, it connects with existing project management tools and calendar systems to automatically assign tasks, set reminders, and assist with progress reviews when needed.
Powered by voice interaction capabilities, Vibe Bot can also serve as a knowledgeable advisor—answering user queries about any meeting it has attended. Users can request instant summaries and action item reports or retrieve detailed discussion points on specific topics.
"This device is lightweight, portable, and ready to use right out of the box, making it easy to capture core information from both in-person and virtual interactions," said Yang. "Work no longer needs to stall after a single meeting ends. Businesses can finally break down data silos across collaboration tools, solve long-standing workflow handoff issues, and achieve continuous, efficient operations."
This week, Vibe is showcasing Vibe Bot at its booth during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The product is expected to launch later this year.
