NVIDIA Reports AI GPUs Sold Out, Data Center Revenue Surges by $10 Billion in a Quarter

2025-11-20

NVIDIA has just reported record-breaking sales of its AI chips, surpassing expectations outlined in its Q3 fiscal 2026 earnings forecast. The company achieved an unprecedented $57 billion in revenue—translating to roughly $4,000 in net profit per second—and saw its Data Center segment alone contribute an additional $10 billion in growth. This division posted a record $51.2 billion in revenue, a 66% year-over-year increase.

Many market observers now view NVIDIA’s Data Center revenue as a key barometer for the broader "AI bubble." Despite concerns about a potential burst, NVIDIA shows no signs of anticipating a slowdown—projecting Data Center revenue to reach as high as $65 billion in the upcoming fourth quarter, which would require an additional $8 billion in growth over the next three months.

CEO Jensen Huang stated that the company is selling every AI server chip it can produce: “Blackwell demand is off the charts, and our cloud GPUs are completely sold out.” NVIDIA further noted that its Blackwell Ultra chip is the primary driver behind this momentum: “Blackwell Ultra has become the leading architecture across all customer segments, while demand for our earlier Blackwell platform remains robust.”

In addition, gaming revenue rose by 30% year-over-year—a promising signal for NVIDIA’s Blackwell-based gaming chips, especially after the RTX 50-series GPUs received mixed reviews and faced a rocky launch earlier this year.
