Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has achieved its first-ever annual revenue exceeding $400 billion. This milestone was announced in the company's Q4 2025 earnings report released on Wednesday, which highlighted a 15% year-over-year growth rate driven by the continued expansion of its cloud business and YouTube.

As detailed in the report, Google's cloud operations reached a $70 billion annual run rate in 2025, while YouTube's combined advertising and subscription revenue soared past $60 billion. Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai informed investors that YouTube remains the "premier streaming platform," citing Nielsen data. The company now boasts over 325 million paying subscribers, leading with Google One and YouTube Premium.

Alongside the surge in revenue and subscribers, Google also reported that user numbers for its Gemini AI applications have surpassed 750 million, an increase of 100 million since the launch of the Gemini 3 model last November. Gemini 3 continues to lead the AI industry, with its customized AI models set to power a more personalized Apple Siri.

Furthermore, Pichai noted that Google Search usage has reached "record highs" over the past few months, adding that daily queries in AI mode have doubled since its introduction. Capitalizing on the popularity of its Gemini apps and AI mode, Google plans to soon integrate agent-assisted checkout functionality within both tools.
